1896 – Walter Arnold of East Peckham, Kent became the first person to be convicted of speeding. He was fined 1 shilling, plus costs, for speeding at 8 mph (13 km/h), thus exceeding the contemporary speed limit of 2 mph (3.2 km/h).

Who’s out riding?

If someone told me few months ago that we were up for 50F weather in a mid-winter I would not think much of that person. I spend all that money on winter storage, winterizing, doing this, doing that, most of all preparing for a “worst storm” Midwest was ever to experience.

All that for 50F!

Poshwatta Motorcycle Concept (Our Future!)

Posted by R1der  Published in General

If the “Creature Guard Team 02” by Nils Poschwatta looked too fantastic to see the light of the day, the German designer has come up with yet another motorbike concept that, like his previous concept, also features a highly revolutionary design but with a rationale this time. The “PMC 900 WS,” as Poschwatta hails the concept, generates power from a wankel engine and touts adjustable parts for dynamic as well as static use, which changes according to the speed and adjustment of the rider. The Poschwatta motorcycle also features hubless wheels that ideally complement the sleek and artistic body while allowing a smooth ride. To sum up, the PMC is a compact sculpture with a clear formal language.

WANTED! REWARD $5000.00

So I am looking for 2006 GSXR 1000, with low miles for $5K or so for summer. Lee recommended 1000RR, so I might consider slower Honda as well, but GSX-R is my first choice.
What are your thoughts on GSXR vs. RR?

Those were the days!

So I am at work looking for things to do so I don't have to leave at 3:00pm, even thou our CIO said everyone can go at 3! What happened to those days when we couldn't wait to get to Mobil on E. State, talk smack and tear-up the streets, or cut corners.

My simple conclusion is, lack of commitment and will to get outside of our comfort zone. It is just easer to go home, turn on the TV or computer and tune out. Only problem with that is that we as a human beans have a desire to socialize, and sooner or later we will notice the lack of social interaction.

My goal for 2012 is to bring back some good old days when we did more then, Sleep, Work, Facebook and Sleep....

Founders have discussed many different aspects of our organization and the need for restructure and reorganization. Our first step was to simplify our web-portal to provide enjoyable viewing experience and ease of administration. “Not Agn, Speed and R1der” will commit to provide weekly updates and initiate variety of subjects.
I hope to see more of you on the page, contributing to something that has a future, commenting and sharing your thoughts and stands.

Let the 2012 begin!
