ROCKFORD (WIFR) – Police say alcohol was a factor in last night’s fatal motorcycle accident.
We’re told the victim, 25-year-old George Foster, who friends and family members say goes by “Jason”, was struck by a minivan trying to make a left turn at the intersection of Weaver and Perryville. Foster was wearing a helmet but it came off in the collision. The driver of the van, Brad Carlson of Rockford has been charged with a DUI.
